No, we only buy iPhones right now. If you have an Android phone, the kiosk unfortunately can’t help you — yet.

Can I sell an iPhone with a cracked screen?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the screen can be as cracked as it gets, as long as it still works. You need to be able to tap the screen to erase the phone and connect to the kiosk’s wifi. If that works, you can sell it.

Can I sell an iPhone with a worn-out battery?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Battery health is one of the things the kiosk measures and it’s factored into the price — but it won’t stop the sale.

No — the phone needs to power on for the kiosk to analyse it.

How is the price of my phone determined?

Accepted Answer

The price is based on a thorough functional and cosmetic analysis of your phone — everything from battery health and serial number to small scratches on the screen and back glass. The kiosk runs the whole analysis automatically, and you always get a concrete offer before you decide — with no obligation.

How often do your prices change?

We adjust prices weekly based on market demand for each model. The price you see in the kiosk is always the current one.

Does the phone need to be erased before I sell it?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the phone must be reset to factory settings. You do this under Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone. Step-by-step guide with pictures. Remember to back up first if you want to keep your photos and contacts!

Does “Find My iPhone” have to be turned off?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that’s a requirement — otherwise the phone can’t be sold. It’s switched off automatically when you erase the phone following the guide. You’ll need your Apple ID password, so do it at home where you have time.

Do I need BankID?

Yes. You identify yourself with BankID before the payout — that’s how we keep every sale safe.

Do I need Swish?

Yes. Payment goes straight to your number via Swish — that’s how you get the money in seconds.

Yes, you need to be 18 or older to sell your phone at Vendy.

No! Just the phone. No accessories needed.

Yes, take out your SIM card before selling — it’s not part of the sale.

How does the sale work, step by step?

1) Connect your phone to the kiosk with the USB cable, 2) connect to the kiosk’s wifi, 3) place the phone in the kiosk, 4) the kiosk analyses the condition automatically, 5) you get a price offer, 6) if you accept — identify yourself with BankID and the money is sent instantly via Swish. Can I change my mind if I don’t like the price?

Yes, of course. Just cancel — you get your phone back right away and it costs nothing.

Can I change my mind after I’ve been paid?

No. Once you’ve accepted the price and received your Swish, the sale is final and we can’t return the phone. So be sure about your decision — and that you’ve backed up everything you want to keep.

What happens to my phone after the sale?

It’s refurbished and gets a new life with a new owner. Every reused phone saves around 60 kg of CO₂e compared with a newly made one — so you’re doing both your wallet and the planet a favour.

Double protection: you erase the phone yourself before selling, so your data never leaves your control — and on top of that, every phone is automatically wiped again when it reaches us.
